AMSTRDM Coffee House

This place is awesome! It’s open and airy. It has a very welcoming atmosphere. It appears that many locals pop in to grab their coffee or a burrito. I met Corey, I think he’s the owner, either way he was very service oriented and helpful. Even recommending another location for me to try out for a sit down breakfast.

Forget the big chains - This is THE place for quality hand mixed drinks An environment you can actually RELAX in, take a break and have a conversation with someone. Enjoy the sidewalk patio scenery. Dog friendly! Way nice.

This is the best cafe in town! Clean and comfortable space with friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend the Amstrdm Breakfast sando with croissant. the pastry is light and flaky, layered with tender eggs and avocado. Definitely ask for their famous homemade fermented hot sauce!

Amazing coffee, pastries and people. I feel like their breakfast sandwich is solid but is degrees away from greatness, the egg and bun are top notch, but it just needs a little acid or heat, maybe include hot sauce or a pickle by default.

Coffee Shop No. 437 AMSTRDM Coffee House Paso Robles, CA October 13, 2024 When I searched for coffee shops in Paso Robles one of the first things to catch my attention was the red half door at AMSTRDM Coffee house. Naturally, and pretty typical of me, I became preoccupied with sitting in a lounge chair sipping a cortado at the shop. As we walked down the street towards AMSTRDM I caught glimpse of the large red pane windows open wide and allowing the coastal breeze flow into the shop. I giddily made my way to the shop with a really good feeling about it. Walking up to the coffee counter I caught glimpse of the inside of a piano gloriously displayed on the counter wall. AMSTRDM is a beautiful coffee house made perfect for travelers, folks visiting with one another, remote workers and people want to sit, relax and enjoy the setting. Here is the best part, the baristas were amazingly kind. They also made a pretty tasty cortado; which was exactly why I was there. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

Great coffee place, very cozy and chill. Very friendly staff. Dog and baby friendly too. Bathrooms have changing tables and they were able to sell me milk for my baby. Coffee drinks are tasty and well made.

I strolled into Amstrdm piano house on a gloriously chilly February morning. I had one thing on my mind: eggs. I have spent years searching for the heftiest egg sandwich in San Luis Obispo county and truthfully, I was ready to give up. Hundreds of diners, coffee shops, and cafes left with empty stomachs and broken hearts. And then, everything changed. As I sat down in the glorious open-air piano house, truthfully, my expectations were low. Right smack dab in the middle of the worst egg crisis to hit our country in generations, finding an egg sandwich of suitable heft and mass is harder than ever. Then, it happened. I was deep in conversation about the various types of tunas and their unique swimmings styles when I was presented with a double bacon cheeseburger-sized offering. My jaw dropped. I took out my egg sandwich scale and clocked this puppy at 1.82 pounds. By my estimations, AMATERM Piano House is likely using 5-7 eggs per sandwich. This is it folks. This is IT. Right in the heart of Paso Robles is a coffee house that dreams big. A coffee house that isn’t afraid to defy industry norms and toss 3-4 extra eggs on a sandwich. And to do so while chicken populations have plummeted to prehistoric lows, you cannot help but smile. Finally, an egg sandwich you can order straight off the menu! Gone are the days of asking for 5 extra eggs just to get a taste of the good life. Run, don’t walk, to AMSTRDM. It will change you life.

From the moment we walked in the barista greeted us like we were old friends. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious! What impressed me was that we were the only people in there that weren’t locals. The staff knew everyone and it was nice to see the camaraderie. We had just left another establishment because their staff was so rude so walking into AMSTRDM was a breath of fresh air! I highly recommended!
